Joyce Kang Photography
Photographer/ Workshop Instructor
Austin, Texas
Joyce is a boot-scoot'n Texan lives in Austin, Texas. She first fell in love with photography back in college when her uncle gave her an old Nikon Fe SLR and a set of Nikon manual lenses. After shooting with a fancy-schmancy digital setup for a while, she "re-discovered" film again in 2011 on a family cruise vacation to the Caribbean islands. It was the beginning of her love affair with film.

Although she loves taking on clients from time to time, her first love is to photograph her life as a wife, a mother and a teacher. Besides being a writer for Little Bellows, she keeps busy by offering private photography mentoring and teaching the successful online workshop, Embrace The Grain, an intro to film photography. She enjoys outdoors and travel with her family. You will often find her hiking or canoeing at one of the beautiful state parks near Austin.

Her favorite film gear line-up includes a Rolleiflex 2.8c, a Pentax 67, a Pentax 645n and a Nikon Fe2. Additionally, she loves to indulge in a good book on Kindle, and suffers from knitting-yarn-hoarding syndrome, and has a terrible addiction to any thing that tops with a heaping scoop of ice cream drizzled with chocolate fudge! She is a CMPro and has been featured and published in several international photography blogs and magazines such as Click Magazine, Lemonade and Lenses.
