I am a fine art and portraiture photographer living in the San Francisco Bay Area and shooting with a Mark III and various L lenses. The first thing I tell anyone is that I am girly girl with over 60 dresses and adore fairytales, happily-ever-afters and all things dainty and beautiful. My work tends to reflect my desire to add some whimsy, enchantment and beauty to the world, but it is also my way of sharing a bit of my heart. When dreams come tumbling down, I turn to photography to help me face the realities. I love photography for giving me an outlet for my emotions. It lets me share everything from the joy and peace I get from a beautiful sunset to the heartbreak I feel when a relationship ends. For this reason, my strongest work is my self portraiture, because I am so intimately acquainted with my dreams and moods. I use all the skills I have learned over the years to convey my vision, everything from exposure to lens choice to lighting. I want to be able to do the same for others — to capture not just their hopes and dreams, but their fears and realities as well.
