Our first stop on this field trip will allow you to explore the largest and most restored of the Missions, Mission San Jose. Established in 1720, and known as the "Queen of the Missions," San Jose is the showpiece of the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park and tells the early story of San Antonio and European expansion in the New World. The grounds of Mission San Jose includes a large 6 acre walled courtyard, the Mission San Jose Church, modern visitors center, and large open space surrounding the Mission.

For our second stop on this field trip, we will visit Mission Concepcion which includes a stone church that was dedicated in 1755, and appears very much as it did over two centuries ago. It stands proudly as the oldest unrestored stone church in America. You will find limitless shooting opportunities at these scenic and historic locations.

Field Trip - Sandy Oaks Olive Orchard (Styled Shoot and Dinner)
Limited Capacity seats available

MEET AT 4:30 AT MARRIOTT BUS DEPARTURE ZONE.
Join us for this premium field trip which will include shooting styled models, a delicious gourmet dinner, and time to socialize while experiencing the natural beauty of Texas!

The beautiful Sandy Oaks Olive Orchard (https://www.sandyoaks.com/) will be the setting for an evening of shooting with a variety of styled models and photography leaders, as well as dinner and time to socialize while strolling the grounds of this beautiful olive orchard ranch. No matter what genre you shoot or where you are on your photography journey, you will cherish this time to put into practice everything that you learned at Click Away, spend time with new and old friends, and shoot styled models in a gorgeous and unique location unlike what most of us get to experience back home.

The schedule and lineup includes styled shooting from 5:30pm-7:30pm (during gorgeous golden hour light!) with the following leaders and model groups:

Senior girl - led by Monica Wilkinson
Mother and daughter - led by Kellie Bieser
Sisters - led by Kristy Dooley
Brothers - led by Kristin Dokoza
Couple - led by Michelle Turner

Models will be styled to help ensure that you shoot stunning, portfolio quality images that look amazing! Attendee numbers will be kept low (just 53 total, so approximately 10 per model group at any given time) so that you get ample opportunity to rotate through and photograph each of the model groups. The Olive Orchard offers many shooting locations and backdrops to create a variety of imagery, all during stunning golden hour light, so you can walk away with gorgeous, varied, and truly unique photos. After the styled shoot, we'll sit down for dinner, wine, and socializing (which is sure to include new connections, forming of friendships, and lots of laughter!). Food and beverages will include:

- A seasonal garden salad fresh from Sandy Oak's garden
- Chicken Puttanesca with Polenta (Puttanesca is an Italian tomato sauce with olives and capers)
- Olive Oil Cake Parfait with pomegranate, strawberry sauce with whipped cream
- Two glasses of Fall Creek Wine (Choice of red or white)
- Plus, bread, water, iced tea and coffee

About Sandy Oaks Olive Orchard:
One of the first commercial olive orchards in Texas, Sandy Oaks is 20 minutes south of San Antonio. While best known for the olive trees, olive oil and the various olive oil and olive leaf based skin care products it produces, Sandy Oaks is also celebrated for its emphasis on hospitality and educating the public on the benefits and various uses of olive oil. The main orchard itself covers a 40-acre tract of the ranch, with some 11,000 trees planted among the massive live oaks dotting the property. A nursery holds up to 10,000 or more olive seedlings and shoots at any one time. Sandy stocks the trees to expand her orchard and to sell to others who would like to join in the adventure of growing olive trees.

Seating/Participation is very limited for the special premium field trip with styled shooting so reserve your spot before it is sold out!
