I was gifted my first "real" camera, a Canon SLR, when I was 12 years. Although it lived on Auto, it taught me to slow down and enjoy the details.
I jumped into my photography career with one eye closed roughly 3 years ago, beginning as a family lifestyle photographer. About a year in, a friend asked me to document her birth. It is then that I realized my ultimate love: photojournalism.
