Have you ever shown up to a new location and worried about how you were going to find the best light? Join Kristin Dokoza in this introductory course on how to see and use available light creatively. Using models, Kristin will demonstrate, how to position your subjects to use light to its fullest, how to position your your subjects in open shade, how to use the background and its natural elements to enhance your composition, and how aperture choice can create several different looks by altering the light, all while using the same location. Attendees in this program should have a good understanding of the exposure triangle.

Learning Objectives:
1. Learn how to capture the best light for your vision.
2. Learn how to evaluate natural light and position your subject in a variety of natural light conditions, including open shade and backlight.
3. Learn how to properly place your subject against the background to create beautiful bokeh.
4. Learn how to frame your subjects or lead the viewer’s eyes to your subjects and how to using the background and it’s natural elements to enhance your composition.
