Understanding animal behavior is an important component of pet photography. Join Nicole Begley and learn strategies for not only keeping a dog’s attention but also creating a connection between the dog and the camera. Using real dogs, Nicole will walk you through a full pet photography session; she will show you how to select the right lens, look for unique compositions, create variety in your images, and will even demonstrate how to incorporate the dog’s human into the session! *Attendees of this session will need to sign an animal handling release form.

Learning Objectives:
1. Learn the best practices for working with dogs and managing their behavior during a session.
2. Discuss lens choice when working with dogs, including how to use a long lens to isolate your subject.
3. Create variety in your dog photography session by utilizing different environmental aspects as well as working with the dog’s human.
