Celeste Pavlik will share her tips on how to create raw and organic imagery of your subject utilizing only the natural light found in and around your home. In this program, you will learn the various ways to approach a small space and ways to manipulate your subject and space to work with your vision and your style. Whether you shoot with a wide angle or telephoto lens, a prime or zoom lens, you'll learn how to use the gear and the space you have to create work that speaks to you.

Learning Objectives:
1. Learn ways to create several types of images using one lens (portrait, detail, environmental, and more!)
2. Learn how to approach a small space and maximize it to create the work that speaks to you. This will include discussion of lens choice, angles, perspective, and subject placement with regard to light source.
3. Understand different types of light, including a comparison of various types of natural light; split lighting, back lighting, dramatic light, hard and flat light; and when to use ambient light and artificial light present in your scene to add or take away from your photo.
4. Learn about camera settings, including managing highlights and shadows in your histogram, white balance, and the exposure triangle.
5. Discuss post processing in ACR & Photoshop and will touch on similarities between PS and LR.
